Hi, my name is Doug. I’m a recent transplant from NE. We live in the Tampa area. Had a couple power cruisers and hoping next boat will be a trawler. Looking forward to all the good information from everyone, thanks.

Welcome to the store.
If you come here for advice on which trawler to buy, you will get lots of advice.
Establish an initial budget for buying then realize even the perfect boat will need 'improvements', to make the boat 'yours'. That too is expensive, figure $50K to $100K.
Please dont even consider a "fixer upper." You will spend all your time and money doing the 'fixer upper' part.

Welcome to TF and the best coast.
The best way to find out is get her out on the ocean, because if anything is going to happen it's going to happen out there.
