New Member. Another sailor transitioning to a trawler

We spent the last five years bringing our sailing catamaran, a Maine Cat 30, from the Chesapeake to our new home in Florida and cruising the west coast of Florida and the Bahamas. We were planning on selling her in a few years and then buying a small trawler. Well...someone was looking for a boat like ours and recently made us an offer we couldn't refuse. So now we find ourselves boatless! We have been testing the waters and have looked at a handful of potential new, to us, boats. We have been lurking around the forum for a couple of months and decided it was time to take the plunge and join the forum. We are looking forward to participating with this great forum.
