Shy-Ann 1
Vessel Make
Barryman & Wallace
Bought our boat, a 33’ 1984 Barryman & Wallace, 4 years ago. Zero experience with vessels this size but I am mechanically inclined. A do it myself guy from the time I was young fellow it didn’t even come into my mind that marine has its own set of rules. All we knew was that we were about to step into a whole different culture. Bought the boat to live on and have been living on it since I purchased it. Haven’t regretted it for not one moment. I will be searching and asking questions of the old salts and look forward to learning knew things.
Thank you for adding me to the group.
Really like the burgee. :)

Welcome aboard, and yes, there are a whole set of best practices sort of unique to the marine world, and we all continually learn and relearn them.

Hopefully I will learn the really important ones right off the hop. It can be a harsh learning curve if one messes up to bad.
