I would like to introduce myself as I am new to this forum and boating. Name is Todd. I live in North East Ohio (NEO) and my "home port" will be Vermilion or Sandusky once I get a boat. My wife and I love adventure and travel. We currently take motorbike trips on a Harley Davidson touring bike. Most recent trip was to upstate NY for 4 days, packing everything on the bike and tent camping. We are at a point in our life where we want to travel a little more comfortably (the bike is not the most comfortable way to see things) so we are looking at getting a boat. I originally wanted to get a nice older trawler but during the course of my research I'm leaning more towards a trailerable "tug/down east" style boat. We will be looking to purchase such a thing next year. I've spent hours on this forum already and look forward to being a part of the community.

Welcome. Big plus of trailerable is you can easily switch from Lake Erie to the Ohio River when you get itchy to see new sights.
