Hello everyone.

Wanted to check in and say hi. I'm from the UK originally, lived in Colombia South America for the past 6 years and will be staying here for the foreseeable future.
Did a little sailing in England a few years back but very much a newbie - especially around trawlers. Worked extensively on diesel engines in the past so that side of things shouldn't be completely alien.

The plan is to move up to Cartagena or Santa Marta and will be buying something that will occasionally be used to get me over to Panama and maybe the Caribbean, but mostly for coastal cruising.

I'd welcome any advice in any shape or form but especially from anyone with knowledge of the waters off the Colombian coast.

Hope to catch up with a few of you one day and as I say any advice is very welcome.
