Hi Folks,

I saw this site mentioned in passing on another blog. So I came over, poked around a bit and liked what I saw, and decided to join.

I don't have a trawler (yet), but I'd love to own one someday. Meanwhile, I enjoy reading about them, both online and in my favorite magazine, PassageMaker. My parents had a 38' Fu Hwa triple cabin trawler, and I fell in love with that style of boat.

While my family had owned boats since I was a kid, I've had the first boat of my very own for just over a year. The experience has been a lot of fun. It's a 28-foot Bayliner 2859 Classic express cruiser. I keep it at Perry's Yacht Harbor in the California Delta, outside Isleton.

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to participating in the forums.

Welcome to TF, Geoff. We used to berth at Riverboat Marina on the Delta Loop and are at Vallejo Marina now. You're in a great delta spot...love the area. We'll be cruising back into the Delta this summer for a week or two.
