Ahoy all,
John and Jen here. We're new to the forum and look forward to learning all we can from you salty dogs! We've been boating with a 18 footer on Lake Erie for a few years. We'll be retiring in a few years and moving to FLA to become permanent cruisers. Considering a used Helmsman 38 Pilothouse or Mainship 40. We'll be doing a 4 day, live aboard trawler school and scouting out some marinas. Looking in the Tampa Bay area to decrease the chances of dealing with any hurricanes.
