Hi I just joined looking to share my experiences with others. I bought my first 1979 Albin 38 foot trawler 20 years ago, cruised it from Texas to Virginia and back. Sold it about 7 years ago and bought my present trawler almost 4 years ago. Doing a little cruising up and down the Texas Coast while getting a 1985 40 foot Marine Trading/Bestway Labelle Sundeck ready for retirement next year. Most recently finished all my electronics. Bought and installed them myself. Used them on a week long trip from Galveston to Rockport and back. Most amazing thing I have done is to put a combo washer/dryer opposite the forward head through a v berth door that is 4 inches narrower than the washer/dryer. My wife and I and Bruce our cat are live aboards.
