New forum member - new 48' Hatteras LRC

Hi all, David and Deb here. Just wanted to introduce ourselves and say that we recently closed on the sale of our house and also just closed and moved aboard our '79 Hatteras 48' LRC that we are renaming Journey. We have some refitting and updating to do then we'll be cruising full-time mostly along the US east coast, Bahamas and the Caribbean.

We've enjoyed lurking here for a while and now look forward to our new adventures!

Thanks, David & Deb

Welcome aboard! The Hatt 48 LRC is a real blue water trawler, built like a tank. Congrats.

I love the 48 LRC.
Here in So Cal, there is a LRC that has had the stern extended.
It's fantastic looking!

No, we're still in Alabama on the Tennessee River, which is where we bought her. Need to get a few things done for the trip to Jax. Funny you mentioned Lambs because that's where we are going, and we currently have our 35 Cabo there. Great place!

453's - from what I understand all but one or maybe two of the 49 that were built had the 453's with Lehman's in the other one/two.
