New to the forum.

So about a year ago my girl was watching a video on YouTube about a couple who lived aboard a trawler in Florida. We were living in Napa California. What started as an innocuous binge watching sort of morphed into a passion. We moved to Florida after renting our house out, spent months on months doing research and after looking at probably 20 trawlers just closed on a 40 Heritage East. We joined this forum a while back and read all of your advice, which was invaluable. The survey went well and we found we could live with the minor deficiencies at the price we were paying for the boat. Now we plan on spending the next 6 months reconditioning her, and learning to operate the boat, then hopefully off to adventure. Thanks for existing, and what anchor is best? (Joking). Cheers.

What, no anchor pics? What's that console on the bow?

Welcome, and best of luck chasing your dreams!

Thanks all for the warm welcome. The box is like a cheap plastic dock box/bench. The old owner left it there. Anchor pictures to follow. Lol
