new boat, old boater

Hello all,
I have joined this forum and done many hours of reading.
Four years away from boating due to other interests now satisfied.
Today we have word that our new to us boat will be in our hands by end of month. It is a woody Grand Banks from 1971.
We will soon be cruising the gulf islands once again.
I guess I can post in other threads now.
Steve

Welcome Aboard!

Congrats on your new boat. Send us some pics.
Lots of great reading and info here.

I have also become a fan of YouTube. I have discovered some old boater tips and tricks that have help us newbies to work smarter, not harder. There are alot of epic fails up there too that are as soooo funny, they make me feel better about operating my boat.[emoji16][emoji41]
