Officially Joining

Been lurking, bought the boat, sold the house, moved aboard, and now just waiting out Covid before we start the Great Loop. So, hello to all, and thanks for all the great advise gleaned over the last many months.
Cheers, Cap't Paul & Adm Linda

That seems amazing that a self-claimed lurker took all the advice, digested it, and bought the boat, sold the house, and planned the loop without one single question to the forum. That says a lot for the amount of content available here!

Forget about Covid, it may never go away. Watch the weather and leave when it looks like a good window.

Welcome aboard. The virus will probably be here for at least another year best case. If you are ready to do the loop I would go asap.

We found the boat in Florida. We lived in Michigan. We have the slip here until March, and we are going to enjoy a winter without snow, and start back up to the Great Lakes in mid-March. Gives us plenty of time to play on the ICW, go thru locks, and practice huricane prep, LOL!
