Long time boater, great lakes (mostly Erie), inland waterways and the bays around the gulf coast with occasional forays into the gulf. Traveled the world in the Navy, in the air, on the sea and the land, 31 years in all. Have owned boats for 5 decades from 9 to 40 feet (sail and power). Recently purchased my first trawler although I have admired them for decades. A 2016 North Aegean Trawler 30 (would love to chat with any other owners out there). At 30 foot it fits on my lift and is easily single handed. Also a pilot for over 50 years.
