Smile Hi there, this is Michael

Hi everybody,

my name is Michael, 37 years old from Germany. I´m in the beginning of building my own boat very soon and I thought it would be glad to talk to other boat enthusiasts, which are into cruising aswell.

In the past I mostly travelled on sailboats, was crew on sailtraining vessels and Tallships, but also on small sailboats.

My longest trip was from Papua Niugini via Micronesia to Palau took me three months. Another one was from Cape Horn to Antarctica and up to South Georgia, Tristan da Cunha and Capetown.

If there are any questions, just bring them up - looking forward talking to you.

cheers

Michael

Welcome aboard!
Cape horn to Antarctica? I guess you will be the one that will teach a lot to some of us

Your plan to build your boat will make a great thread, keep us posted!
You will find a lot of info reading the thread from Hendo.

Hey Michael, welcome to the forum!
Why are you the only one in your group not wearing a tuxedo?
Sounds like you are an experienced sailor. Why the switch to trawler?
