Glad to be here. Looking at doing the "Loop" in 3 or so yrs, and am currently looking for an older trawler in the 37' to 42' range. Current sailor moving to our first trawler. Any advice, or boats on the market, would be appreciated.

mainship 34. At $50k (in Canadian dollarettes), a 37 -42 footer will cost your entire budget to bring up to a decent level for the loop.

Welcome y’all. The loop has been done in just about every kind of boat IE pontoons etc... I am sure you can find something that will do it for $50K Good luck
