I just joined the Forum a few minutes ago, and thought I'd do the requested introduction. I'm retired Navy (commanded a couple ships in my youth) and also owned a couple sail boats (did some inter-island cruising in both Caribbean and Pacific). My wife and I are no longer up to the challenges of open-ocean sailing, and we're considering a Trawler-style power boat with the intention of Chesapeake/ICW cruising. We have a lot to learn about power boating, and the forum seems like a great resource.

Welcome, "dolphin," and ditto what Archie said.

Welcome to the forum! Lots of great cruising on the East coast from Maine to Florida and easy access to the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain.

I'm tired of fast moves, I've got a slow groove, on my mind.....
I want to spend some time, Not come and go in a heated rush.....
