I just joined the Forum a few minutes ago, and thought I'd do the requested introduction. I'm retired Navy (commanded a couple ships in my youth) and also owned a couple sail boats (did some inter-island cruising in both Caribbean and Pacific). My wife and I are no longer up to the challenges of open-ocean sailing, and we're considering a Trawler-style power boat with the intention of Chesapeake/ICW cruising. We have a lot to learn about power boating, and the forum seems like a great resource.
