Hey Kids!

We've finally moved onto our own boat after spending time helping our son restore and cruise his 1955 Monk McQueen. I say "restore" even though it's an ongoing process.
Our boat is a 1975 CHB Tri Cabin powered by a 120 hp Ford Lehman. Overall she's in good condition but as expected, we are discovering numerous issues mainly related to age. (ours and the boat) We've been on board full time for 3 months while we prep for our first summer. Our plan is to live aboard and cruise the waters between Victoria BC and Alaska over the next couple of years. Hopefully, I'll be able to spend most of my time on deck and not doing "engine room yoga". I'm currently trying to source local parts for the engine. I'm familiar with American Diesel, Bomac and Go2. Looking mainly for parts (new or used) in Canada.
This forum has been a great help already and I'm sure you'll be hearing from me quite often.
Cheers
