Hershine 42 (1987)

Currently looking at a Hershine 42. She has recent barrier coat, bottom paint, awl grip hull and decks. However, has been on the hard for about 20 years. She is powered by twin Perkins diesels. Any information about Hershine and/or Perkins would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

I am in the process of buying an 86 Hershine 42. Our friend has an 1986 Hershine 46 so we have been able to look at there's and potentially ours in great depth and we are happy with the build quality and the surveyor seemed pleased as well. He has Cummins 555 "triple nickles" we have Cummins 6bta. Perkins are great engines and I haven't seen anything bad about them. Do you have pictures or a link to the listing?

Never owned a Hershine but I did charter a 53' for a couple weeks years ago. Had 3208 Cats and was a nice boat. Lots of room, great layout. My wife wanted to buy it but we didn't.
