New to this site I am from Newfoundland Canada and have owned a dozen different boats over the past 30 years. I am a marine mechanic by trade and work for the Canadian Coast Guard for the past 13 years. Cummins diesel field service before that. My current boat is a ocean Alexander 42. With twin Ford Lehman Sp225 engines and a Cummins Onan generator.
Being so far from a major city and living on a rock in the North Atlantic I would appreciate if anyone has info on where or someone private that is selling Lehman parts. The things that American diesel done have. Like intercoolers or turbo etc.
I am also looking for a hi low table

(Turbo and possibly inter-cooler)

Do not toss your old inter-cooler!!!
The end caps will be needed to be soldered on the new tube stack.

All that said, Brian has a pretty good pulse on what to do as work arounds.

The things that I actually found difficult are pistons and exact rods for my sp275. I lucked out on getting the last piston Brian had (after calling everyone too). Had to settle for a rod 0.006” longer for the offending cylinder—lots of measuring to ensure I don’t blow the head and throw the engine out of balance. Mind you, I was fixing just the one and reusing the others. I could have gotten a whole set of the next grade down from Bomac. I think the sp135 takes such.
