Hello to all of you, thanks for allowing us to join.
About to retire and therefore we just started to begin fulfilling our lifelong dream of buying a trawler and cruising the Mediterranean.
We just became owners of a Defever 49 and the coming years you will be able to find us along the coastal waters of Croatia and Greece during the summer months. Every year we plan to spend 4 to 5 months on board, doing what we should have done much earlier.............enjoying ourselves !
I now have the daunting task ahead of learning each and every little bolt / screw and system on board, but as a pensioner I should have enough time for that.
I hope to be able to learn a lot from all of you experienced trawler owners and fans and we will hopefully be sharing some of our experiences.
