One of my two favorite boats.
With the right engine I’d be “head over heels” ….

I have a electrical problem and I am looking for someone who is familiar with the Eagle 32 with a 135hp diesel motor. There is a buzzer going off with the motor not running but as soon as the motor is started it stop buzzing. Thanks Jim

Sounds like an oil pressure alarm. If so, this is normal. Alerts when oil pressure is absent, which it is before startup.

Thanks for the reply but I left the boat overnight no problem but came back to the boat and the buzzer was on along with some gauge lights were on and the hour meter was running it’s like someone turned the key on but it doesn’t have one just a switch and it is off.

Test across the terminals on the switch. The console is energized - switch failure is high on probability list.

This is not an Eagle issue or an engine issue. Pure wiring issue.

Good luck -

Peter

Wish I had better advice. Clearly you have a short somewhere - may want to try disconnecting wires on oil pressure sender on engine and see if that solves issue of gauge lights being on (and hour meter rolling). Someone else may have better guidance. Electrical troubleshooting is a bit hunt and peck for me.

Best success!

Peter
