Hello!

Glad to be here! Unfortunately, it's for advice on an engine problem on my Volvo Penta TAMD41B, and I'm hoping that someone here will be able to assist.

I LOVE this motor....when it's running properly, but the boat's in the water (ocean) 24/7 so a LOT of saltwater maintenance is required it seems.

The boat is a '91 Cooper Yachts 8 meter Prowler with a single turbo TAMD41B engine & VP 260 DuoProp leg. There's only 860 hours total on the boat/power unit since new.

Anyway, I guess I'll be posting in the appropriate section & hoping for some seasoned advice....

Thanks for having me here!
