Just wanted to say Hi, looks like the right place for trawler research with a knowledgeable crowd.

Cruised for 30 years, mostly in a diesel sport-fishermen, kids are now on their own and the wife and I were thinking more distant shores in the next couple of years, have been from Canada to Bahamas, was thinking further south and possible up the left coast. I actually don't mind running offshore, will just need distance/seaworthy and reliability.
