Forum Newbie

Hi Folks

My name is Rick and my wife and I have recently purchased our first trawler.
We look forward to participating in the forum and will likely have a thousand and one questions as we take this adventure forward.

Ellen Rose is a 1981 Great Lakes 33 powered by a single Volvo Penta TMD40A. We plan on sailing her locally this season to get to know her tendencies and quirks before venturing too far from home.

Will post more soon.

Welcome. I like your local area. Have you cruised around there in other boats?

There is at least one member here who owned a sister ship to yours, and lots of friendly folks standing by to answer your questions...

Welcome, Rick, and salutations to the admiral!

Lovely ship you've found.
