chb

welcome aboard. You may see 9 kns. with the 120 fl but she'll be much happier around 7 and drink about 2/3's less fuel.

thanks im not too woried about going fast just a litle concerned about the crrent around where she'd be docked, as it can reach 12 knots. i guess it may be time to review the tides tables. also are these loud while your cruising?

Yep. They rattle away pretty resoundingly. Where are you docked that you see a 12kt current?

You certainly wouldn't want to buck that in a CHB with a FL120.

Where is your moorage in Vancouver with a 12+ knot current, the only place I know around here with a 12 knot plus current is Skookumchuck Rapids and I would not be trying to tie up there........
