Ok so just found this sight and I joined today. In the near future looking for some help on converting an ex US Navy (Willard) into a uscg cert vessel.I am from Boston Ma.I also operate a 1944 ex US Navy 62ft YP Boat.

Hey Tim, Welcome. I think you and I were in the Coast Guard together. Jack Curley from the CGC Bibb? I saw a news piece a while back about you and your brother being interviewed about a head boat you were restoring.

Tim, It was made by Higgins in New Orleans 1954. 65 Tons. Now in Sarasota, Fl.

Hope you had good luck with her,I have a 1944 US Navy YP that I cruise around Boston Harbor.100 PX,Hope to get a few more years of use .Happy New Year to you also.
