Cape Dory 36 trawler

Hi I am a newbie to the trawler forum. I have a few small boats, both power and sail, but am looking for a larger boat to do some vacation cruising. I am looking at a 1988 Cape Dory 36 trawler. I am looking at cruising from Block Island to Maine.

Has anyone ever cruised in one of these? I would appreciate anyone's input to their likes or dislikes about this boat.

Just my opinion, but the Cape Dory 36 is not a "trawler". It has a deepV hull which are noted for their high power requirements & poor low speed performance. It doen't look like a "trawler" either. That said, it may still serve your purposes perfectly.
