I'm new to the Trawler forum and I'm putting out the word that I'm looking to buy a 2005 or newer, outboard equipped, Rosborough RF-246.
My reason for joining the forum is to get this word out and to start wading into the Trawler ownership pool. To date, my interests have involved the outdoors. Mainly focused on whitewater paddling, backpacking, mountain climbing, sea kayaking, auto racing and mountain and road cycling. Having recently turned 70 and generally fed up with dealing with traffic
; I've decided to move to a water focused area of interest.
After several years of contemplating this move; I've, more or less, concluded that a trailerable trawler suits me the best. I have no desire, at this point, to get tied to a trawler that I can't take home when I'm not using it. Having recently visited the Nordic Tug and Ranger Tug factories and closely examined the Rosborough RF-246 at their Florida dealership; I've concluded that the Rosborough RF-246 suits me the best.
I eventually hope to do the Great Loop and ultimately the Inside Passage.
