A couple hurdles that need to be solved to be practical...
Life - I know Li cells are claimed to superior for life but when the batty is the auto or plane frame replacement is $$$$$
Batty replacement - so to address the above as I doubt the batty will last the life expectancy of a car or plane or boat... the design will need to have replaceable structural / batty components that are not cost prohibitive or we end up with all throw away devices, cars, boats, planes

I guess above not impossible but COMPLETE / MAJOR redesign of everything that hopes to take advantage of this. And new "repair" facilities & techs that can replace a batty.
Above Not impossible but not in my lifetime other than demo of principal??
I just guess I'm not a visionary like Steve Jobs or Elan Musk (nor do I have the $$$ to try)

Saw an 8D fall into the water once. It didn`t float.

I hauled one out of a friend's sunken boat once.
Drained it, refilled it with battery acid and used it in my boat until that one sunk!

Damned battery...
