Sometimes "to break the ice" should not be taken literally. Or perhaps another language barrier issue ? :D

EVERY year there is one or more idiots who go through the ice in some sort of vehicle. I frequent areas that use commercial ice bridges (toll) and I suspect not many people know but you do not have insurance coverage for cars for going into the "cubes" even at a commercial facility.
