elec panel - switch indicator lights

Hey all, new to the forum. Just bought a 91 OA 440.

The electrical panel, switch indicator orange and red lights - I have several lights inoperative and suspect they're just burnt out. I gingerly tried pulling the lens cover, no joy. Tried turning the lens cover, no joy.

Before I break the lens covers to access the bulbs thought I'd ask for any tips, tricks to get them off.

Thx, Kirk

Have you tried accessing them from the back?

First you have to remove the switch from the panel. Then looking at the back side you will see two clips that allow the switch cover to come off. Once in side the switch you will find a grain of wheat bulb. You will need to cut it out and solder in a new bulb. Then you can reassemble the switch.

Thanx for the prompt reply tiltrider1. Didn't expect to have to solder in a new bulb but I can do that. Are there p/n's on the bulb or would you happen to have them.

Thx, Kirk
