Muir HR1100 horizontal windlass with two anchors?

Can you lock the gypsy with the chain/ primary anchor on a Muir HR1100 horizontal windlass and use the Capstan on the same windlass to recover the rode of a second anchor?

Sorry can't answer for that particular model.

But all of them, once the chain side is secured, all you have to do is lift the chain off the gypsy to use the capstan.

On many all you would have to do is loosen the friction brake on the gypsy...but Not sure I would trust that 100% so I lift the chain off entirely.

Just saw the panels manual for the 1200 and it works like the paragraph above.

I have a Muir Cougar the clutch for the gypsy can be unlocked so the capstan side can be used.
