If you haven't done it and think laying out a bunch of anchors in a H-hole is a chore, I would say that you have double the chore in recovering them, especially in a muddy hole like the one I use. Below is the aftermath of recovery once back in the slip with the mud mostly gone and before restowing. All the useless danforths and CQR in the photo were quickly replaced with three Fortress FX37s, but the old fashioned Herreshoff kedge anchor will stay with me forever cuz it's a digger!
