blue seas winch

Hi everybody
Di & Gary here from Queensland Australia.

Would anybody know of the make of our vertical winch on our 36ft blue seas cruiser 1977.

All we can find is the word Australia on it!

I think Muir and Maxwell are both from that area.

Best post a pic. Muir is likely, I`d expect the brand moulded into the windlass drum on top, but my Muir experience is horizontal only. Can you look underneath at the motor unit for a brand? You could take a pic and send it to Muir, they are responsive and should be able to help even if it`s not theirs.
