Double Island Point?
Has anybody heard about or had recent experience at Double Island Point with the entrance to the lagoon closing up due to shifting sand?

There is a FB page "Double Island point lagoon entry"
It's getting narrower and shallower for sure

That's a bit sad. It looks like it was an excellent anchorage. The sort I used to like a lot when looking for a good over-nighter...maybe a decent storm might open her up again in the future..?

Or that new sand becomes the beach over time and new sand movement creates another lagoon.
No idea how long that would take though!

The last lagoon was a long time in the making.
There hadn't been a usable lagoon there for over 30 years to my knowledge.
Ya never know , the next one may not take so long.
