Remote security monitoring

I will be leaving my boat for months at a time in other countries. Would typical IP remote monitoring systems used domestically be robust for a boat? I have used systems from Lowes and Home Depot in my homes and they work great.

I'm thinking of water alarms for the bilges, motion activated exterior lights, a couple of cameras, a temperature/humidity sensor for the interior and possibly monitoring a dehumidifier.

I personally use a Ring stick up cam. Needs a wifi connection though.
