If you haven't already discovered the YouTube channel "Pacific Yacht Systems", then check it out. Jeff Cote does a wonderful job with his videos explaining just about every question you might have with regards to marine electrics and electronics. There is a ton of information here.......
I have learned much watching him.

On YouTube as well, there are several hour long recordings of Jeff’s presentations at various boat shows. Many marine electrical topics presented.

His presentation at the 2019 (?) Seattle boat show on batteries that runs about an hour and a half is probably the best you will see on the net. I recommend it and he begins his talk for the newbie knowing nothing and ends with problems of installing lithiums, the changes you have to make and why.
