I can certainly see why the 43 years. Your advice is sound. And i love our Torqueedo.

I wish I bought a Torqueedo, wasted $1000 on a new Merc 3.5 piece of junk.

Have had bad luck with both Eartech and Sena.

As for our Eartechs, the microphone on one of ours stopped working last summer after 2 years. We had the single earpiece which were prone to falling off. Used a lanyard to save them from falling in the drink but found the whole thing cumbersome.

The good folks at Eartech sent us some lanyards. We have the 1 cup model. For the life of me I can't figure out how the lanyards they sent will help the headset from being lost. If you have the lanyard around the back of your neck and the headset slips off your heard backwards... goodby headset. How did you rig lanyards?
