We’ve just spent our first night on our new to us 2006 Mainship 34 Trawler. Engineer husband is looking for the cable path from the upper helm to the lower helm. Anyone have some guidance, directions, tips, etc.

There is a chase (hubby should understand that term) inside the starboard windshield pillar. It drops down and into the area behind the lower helm as well as into the engine room.

My 2008 MS 34 HT has no upper so I can only guess.
I do have a good size chase molded in just aft of the stbd side helm door. My horn, Nav light, GPS antenna, VHF antenna are in the area fwd of the apparent chase and on the same stbd side. The chase seems way oversize if those were the only wires it contains. I have not seen any wires under the lower helm that head towards the windshield or side window. Everything seems to go down below the saloon/ salon floor and gets directed from there.
On 34Ts the stbd side chase would be roughly in line (fore & aft) with the pad for the mast

Can you find any trace of upper helm wires / bundles heading in a direction?
