Kohler 8EOZD quick flicker question

While at anchor, genset on, running either one or both AC pack, it seems that when the packs compressor cycles, (momentary spike) the genset goes offline momentarily. What i see is the 2 small cabin lamps flicker as if there was a brief power interruption. At least thats what the my victron multuplus 3k unit seems to think..meaning the analog 115 volt meter doesn't budge but the victron system momentarily indicates a loss of AC....

Any suggestions?

Assuming the AC units do not have soft starts on them my first suggestion would be to install them. they really help in smoothing out the compressor starting load.
