Hi there...new owners of a 2001 34 Mainship Pilot....so far so good...couple of hiccups...but we are really enjoying her.

The head was flushing properly at first...but after my husband got the icemaker working...now when we press the button to flush..it trips the switch to off..

any ideas ? you know how important it is for us ladies to have a functioning head!

thanks

The ice maker is AC powered and the toilet is DC, so unless something was bumped while working on the ice maker that affected the toilet then they are not related electrically.

Does the toilet make any noise but doesn't run when the button is pushed before it trips the circuit breaker? If so then you probably have a clog that won't let the toilet macerator pump run, so it trips the breaker after a second or two. Disassemble and clear the clog- yucchh!!

Otherwise you may have a loose electrical connection or the breaker may be bad and trips early.
