Has anyone used the Wavlink AC1200? My old Redport doesn't support 5Ghz wifi. Many marinas now have 5ghz. This antenna is a router and repeater that supports 2.4 and 5.

Yep. I have it. It is okay. I did better with the King Falcon RV antenna. Since it is motorized and directional, it could exclude some of the interference better. Neither were magical, both were better than none.

Since the antenna also serves as a router you might want to check with the marinas you frequent ... I know my marina, which uses OnSpot, has restricted the types of devices/routers that can connect to the net. Apparently many routers/extenders were not playing well with the wifi network.

UPDATE: We have been using the combination antenna and router now for 4 months. It works well. The only problem is I have to reset it every morning. I have talked with Onspot and they assure me that they aren't knocking me off. I will live with the reset issue. Reception and Signal strength are good.
