Eagle 53 Flybridge Helm Upgrade

Before and after photos of the current project, the flybridge helm upgrade. Pulled the Furuno NavNet2 system off the boat, and am installing the last-generation Furuno NavNet 3D system throughout.

Upstairs, a new MFD8 Multi-Function Display/Chartplotter, new FireBoy fire suppression system/engine shut-down remote, anchor rode counter, Comnav Rudder Angle Indicator, and ICOM M506 fixed-mount VHF with AIS receive.

Good ol' P-lam. had to buy a full sheet of it in order to reface the dash panels in the pilothouse, the leftover material came in very handy to do the same "upstairs".

LOL so this one time we were the lead boat heading to bimini when my son mentioned, Dad everyone else has headed in a different direction.

Apparently our calibration of the AP's compass had us heading to cuba instead of bimini. Took us a while to catch up to them.
