Damages from lightning strike.

This is a very detailed and thorough account of a lightning strike and the resulting damages and repair. It is long, but I found it interesting.
No way I could consider a Nordhavn, much less a 72. I am looking for something more like what one of their cars might cost, but intrigued by what is involved and the account of it all. Bottom line for them was an insurance claim for about 20% of the value of the boat.
