convert 24v instrument to 12v

I am unsure if I am on a mission to nowhere. I have been given a brand new search light but it is 24volt and I am 12 volt is there anyway I can change it over so I can use it. Thank you

If the light is an LED it should be convertible to a lower voltage.
If it is halogen lamp there should be a 12V lamp that will fit.

In that case my first thought would be to check with the manufacturer in case
they offer a 12v version and you can convert yours.

Failing that, there are 24v to 12v converters you can use depending on the
wattage and amps the searchlight draws. I have seen them on Amazon.
