Connect SiTEX SVS-760C GPS to SiTEX T-760 Radar

I've connected the NMEA 183 output from the SiTEX SVS-760C GPS to the input of the SiTEX T760 Radar. Sitting in my slip with engines off, the connectivity is good and I get GPS position updates showing on the radar. When I'm underway, however, I'll sometimes get initial position and then the alarm for no GPS information gets set on the radar and only old GPS data is displayed on the radar even though the GPS is updating properly.

The connections are GPS yellow "OUTPUT 1+" to RADAR brown/white "NMEA1-RXA" and GPS blue "NC" to RADAR red/white "NMEA1-RXB". Unfortunately, even though they're both SiTEX devices, the NMEA 183 terminology in each manual is significantly different.

Anyone happen to have this same configuration or suggestions? Thanks
