Best Tablet for Coastal Explorer?

Best tablet for Coastal Explorer?
I’m looking for a second device to load Coastal on.
Any recommendations?
I’m using a laptop but want redundancy.
Thanks

Can't say "best" and can't really speak to Coastal Explorer, but...

FWIW, we just bought a new Samsung Galaxy S7 10.5" (or so) tablet... partly selected because Otterbox also makes a case for that model.

This new tablet runs Android v11 and not all apps are updated to work on that OS. iSailor, for example, hasn't been updated yet... although Wartsila said they hope to have it available "this Summer" (whenever that might be).

That wasn't critical for us, since we use AquaMap as our primary backup on the bridge, and TimeZero as our planning and tracking system on the ship's laptop.

I don't believe Coastal Explorer will run on Android tablets (yet). A Microsoft Surface Pro running Windows may be your best bet. Or they recently released an Apple iPad version.

This is correct. Hopefully having only two choices makes it easier for you [emoji4]
