Ancor products in Canada

I’m able to shop at a large marine whole sale distributor in Canada called Western Marine I wanted to pick up a number of the 25’ bundles of 16 gauge and was told they were on back order and had been so for some time. Similarly some of their tools were out of stock. So the closed border is definitely effecting the availability of stock up here. Is there anything similar going on stateside?

I order a lot of wire and cable from bestboatwire.com. Recently they have been out of quite a few sizes of wire and cable. Asked when it would be in they said 4 to 20 weeks. I bought it on Amazon and had to order a spool of 25’ to get the 4’ I needed of 1/0 cable. Lots of things are out of stock now not just wire.

Interesting! I wonder if that is Suez Canal related or whether it’s the country of manufacture.
