Labor Day Weekend: Boothbay to Manhattan

Depart Saturday afternoon and looking forward to a nice night-time coastal run across the Gulf of Maine, then sunrise Sunday run through the Cape Cod Canal with the Ebb Tide, then into Buzzards Bay, and a turn to the West for the run into Block Island Sound and Long Island Sound... arrange to hit Hell Gate at slack water. Kids to school on Tuesday: End of Maine Summer...

Send me a message and I'll say HI as we pass.

I've been keeping a weather eye out and the forecast looks like gentle SW breezes w 1-2' seas... easy stuff if accurate.

my crew are my kids, so I like nice easy weather passages. Lol.

Watch out if SW comes up in Buzzards Bay against the tide! You'll wish you laid over at Sandwich Boat Basin.
Enjoy your trip.

Safe passage!

Out of curiosity as the GB 46' is a boat I really like, what speed will you be cruising at and range before needing refueling?

Boy that is a long trip for a weekend, lots of time underway. Would love to do it again though.
